I definately agree Rob... I hate getting pulled over just because I drive a Honda...

Yeah people driving like complete morons and the theft of almost 60% of all cars in the honda game does profile us as bad people . . .

 

People like that simply havn't experienced a close call. It takes reality sometimes for people to grow up.

With those videos, I'm always waiting for the boosted F-Body to go flying past both cars.

 

yea street racing is stupid, but we all have done it at some point, even if just for a second. Theres just no reason to race like some people to do rip through 4th and 5th gear....once the point after 3rd really? Just to see if you can go 90+ mph and have high chance of killing yourself or innocent people around you.

But at the same time, some of the long term members on here talk about how they drive 100+ mph for hours at a time driving home from expo, so guys....who are we kidding really?

Totally agree with totsie, weather its racing or speeding i'm sure most if not all people on this fourm have done one or the other. Sometimes it can be hard not to get on it once in awhile, I mean it is a type-r lol

I know this isn't the point of the thread, but the sound of the ITR and the Si at WOT is amazing.

 

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! WHAT THE HELL!!! I've street race a turbo RSX before and got walked! Then I raced another RSX-S (stock) and walked it. Raced an EVO8 on the FWY and walked all over it!
I chased down another buddy of mine in a LS/VTEC EK in the canyons once and when I see people speed on the FWY, I always follow but keep my distance in case they get caught first! Heck! I speed all the time!!! But hardly in VTAK mode!!!

 

Can i poke a stick at the guy in the 4 door civic that tried to race me in my CRX today in the rain...

Im talking pooring sleet/ rain and this fool is passing people on the right to get next to me so i can not get over and exit the highway to go where i want. Come on do you race every civic with an exhaust on it....

...and to clearify i wasn't racing i was trying to get home to upload a paper for class tonight so i was driving faster then him when i passed him so he retaliated with stupidity

Thats not the point though. The rest of us where not dumb enuff to tape ourselves street racing or whatever and then host it on the internet for all to see our dumbassery for eternity.

Street racing is stupid because you can hurt yourself or others. BUT REALLYYY. everyone has done it.
