hey i made a post in the accord forum already, but i figured i'd ask you guys too since it's more h22 oriented. i'm about to buy an h22 for my CL, and i was wondering if anyone had ever done this..

i know that some of the b-series guys have taken the 5th gear out of an LS tranny and but it in a b16 tranny for better freeway speeds. i know that the f and h series trannies will bolt up to either block, so they have to be somewhat similar right? does anyone know if i can take the 5th gear out of my f23 tranny and put it in place of the 5th gear in the h22 tranny?

Just find a JDM H22A trans(M2A4/M2B4).....that should do the trick. I have gotten 29mpg in my 2900lb Prelude with it. And that was making about 30whp more than stock.

just curious, what kind of work did you have done? p&p and cams?
