What's up gang? I just bought the center HVAC controls out of a 00 SI and I'm getting ready to shove them into my 97 DX (hmmm... like the title says?) Question: does anyone know what kind of plug and harnes trouble I'm gonna run into with this swap? Also - I'm gonna change the LED colors to green (same with my SI cluster that's 'on the way'...) I've already scraped off the orange covers (condoms) from the factory SI LEDs... anyone know where I can get new covers in green? Thanks in advance!!!!

Heard that conversion doesn't work. Something about one is cables and one is electroniclly controlled.

Yeah, I would have sent you my blue covered bulbs for your amber colored bulbs.

And no, the swap does not work. Not that simply anyway. Since the 97 controls are cables and the 00 is electronic, you have to replace everything that is attached to them. It is a lot of stuff. Basically everything under the center of the dash. There was a post on this.
