Default i need an answer

just swapped a jdmh22.
there is a bracket on the fuel rail with a vacuum box in it. the vacuum line runs to the fuel pressure regulator.
loked at a buddys h22 in his integra and this part doesnt exist. the line goes to the manifold.
either of these questions will work. do i need that sensor?
can anyone fid the part number to the bracket the sensor it mounted to.
its not on the honda parts websites or the dealership.
someone know where i can figure this out

If you can take a picture of the part, I just peeled apart my H22a4 and its getting built up to drag so I'm sure I can spare the stock piece since I'm not using a stock fuel rail. Take a pic and I'll check if I got one you can have.

you dont need it, set it up like the other h22 and itll be fine...there is an fpr on every car and the vac line usually goes right to the manifold, i cant remember why jdm h22s have this but i know its not necessary

Yeah, it's not necessary.

I had always thought it was a sort of fuel pressure damper....?

I have the same thing on my jdm h22a also. I came across a thread that mentioned the same part and from what i gathered it goes to the box underneath the intake inside the right fender on usdm models.

I believe that is the purge solenoid for the emissions system, if you look you should see something just like that on the firewall.
I tossed mine when I did my swap, no problems.

I was thinking about an adjustable one. Im going to have to be more maticulate when posting.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Infinity_Racer &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

As for that solenoid. I had one on my JDM h22a, but tossed it. And used the one I already had on the firewall. They are the same thing, except JDM is on the IM, and USDM is on the fire wall.
