Default idle surge

whats up guys , i found out that somebody before me removed the bulb out of my check engine light, they were trying to hide the fact that the tps sensor was bad ( it was unplugged) i got the light working and pulled the codes , 1 code TPS, i replaced the throttle body, now my idle surges from about 1g to 2.5 g and no check engine lights, i burped the system thinking that maybe there was an air lock in the iacv system, but it didnt help. before i replaced the throttle body i didnt do this WTF? i work on cars all day , why isnt this tripping a code? this is a 93 accord ex 5speed do you have to jump the blue harness like pulling codes to adjust idle (if so , i didnt) any help greatly appreciated!

I would say try cleaning the IAC but I would just replace it and that will fix your problem.
