thnx
thnx
If you do not have one, get the helms manual and buy the parts online through a honda dealer. A search will reveal over a dozen places to get the parts much cheaper than at your local stealershp.
front wheel bearing is the biggest beotch i have ever experienced when i had my '93 civic hatch..
when professionally done..they use a press..i have an idea of how that looks and works but never seen it..they use hundred/thousands of pressure to remove the bearing from the hub..
me and my dads mechanic replaced the bearings only..that i bought from the local auto parts store(central auto parts) and we took the hub out and started hammering away the old bearings..
took us about 5 hours a hub..from start to finish..but hammering the bearing away was about 3-4 hours just to get it out of the hub..
we hammered all around evenly on the hub so the wheel bearing will come out straight..
youll know what im talking about if you ever start at home..
with an S though..i would take it to a professional..dealership..or honda/acura performance specialist..either one..as long as they have a press..for more fast and much more reliable help..
i told you professionals use a press..the next day we did the other side..
but if you would to just buy a hub you can do that easy at home..with the right tools..
im sure with an S its just about the same as any other honda..to replace hub, bearings, and etc..
good luck man..
i hate small **** like that..they're pet peeves..

The stealership is known to charge upwards of 250 a wheel for front bearing replacement. A shop will probably charge about 100. Try searching "s2000 wheel bearing cost" using this auto forum search engine, you'll get a large amount of information.
sweet thnx alot guys. imma get the bearing and hub combo from hardtopguy and ill prolly just go to a shop to have the bearing placed in the hub but ill do the rest to save money. im sayin this thinking that i can remove the hub with the bearing still in it correct. then i can just take it somewhere have it removed and another placed right? even though im gettin a new hub too. which is suppose to go bad as well.thnx for the help
