My 91 civic project
ok, new to posting here, but gotten on the forums for about 3 years now. heres some pics of my 91 hatch. and before anyone says anything, I DID NOT PUT THA FRONT END ON HERE. i bought it like that. i believe its a 90crx front bumper and fenders.
heres the story, a kid bought this car for $125 sitting EXACTLY like it is in the first pic, just not running. Clean Clean car, he had no clue what it was. he bought new tires for it, new fuel pump, timing belt, other misc things. i told him ill give him what he had into it... so $600 later, i got this! i instantly found a motor/tranny/ecu/harness/mounts ALL FOR $100!! silly people! lol. now its ls swapped, crane stage 2 cams, si weels, and lowered. soon to have skunk 2 full catback (already have) skunk 2 intake mani(already have) and dc sports 4-1 header (also already have)
oh, the paint was VERY oxidised when i got it. like, you touch it with a dirty finger, its stained. i couldnt get it off. you can see what im talkin about in the second pic below. BUT, i took spray way, and a waxer/buffer and all of it came right off!
MOTOR OUT, BEFORE CLEANING IT UP

ENGINE OUT... 4X4!!! lol

Swappin parts
Lowered on Tockio struts and cheap coil overs for now!
LOOK NO RED!! lol
thats all the pics of that car for now... more to come later. oh, btw, heres my eg, my last project... shes parked for awhile now. i like the EF WAY BETTER!! lol

lol, not stolen. it was my buddys out of a 91 teggy with 220k miles GRANNY driven all its life. he swapped for b16, went through 3 people hands (never put in a car) then a guy got REAL close to havin everything for a swap... but never finished. had all that stuff in a storage building, didnt pay it for like 3 months... his code got denied, but luckily, my mom has a storage in that same place. used her code, went to his storage, it wasnt locked, and hes liek, 100 bucks for everything in here honda related. lol. i was like.. ok, no prob.
and yea, ik the hot air, but its all i had.. WAY better than the setup i had a week ago.. no filter, open tb.
so im fine with the hot air till i get a cold air. lol
