I lived in the state of CA, and was wondering if a civic with turbo setup is legal?

Also are there any swap for 99-00 Civic that is legal here in the state of CA and what are the step to getting the swap legal.

 

any swap you do, besides the same engine that came from the factory is illegal.(even the d series, but correct me if i'm wrong...) you must have it BAR'd to be legal.... i think you can get away with street legal turbo kits like greddy and such...

Nothing in California seems to be legal...
However, some of the dopest cars are still being presented from that area. It never fails to amaze me!
