Not everyone has 5 lugs.
Some might be riding around on 4x114.

whats the full story on that?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
A tire shop gave the dude lugs with the wrong thread pitch and they cross threaded and then stripped out when he torqued them on. They held well enough for him to get started but then couldn't take the cornering forces of the autocross.
Apparently he actually was able to put the stock lugs and wheels back on and drive the car away.
:edit: supposeably, anyway.

You should sell those rims and pick up the ITR replicas (4x100)...

the reason you won't find anything less than 1.5" is because you have to account for the 4x100 lug stud.
You have to bolt the adapter plate up to the lugs with lug nuts and therefore have to have enough room to house everything under the wheel. This leaves you with a min. of that 1.5"
good luck

should have just stole the suspension off the car too.
Just kidding? But what the above dude said about housing all the 4X100 hardware is spot on. That is why it'll be hard to find thinner spacers.
