ok people so i got my gauge lights running again, no need of the blue dash lights any more.
How i done it, well its a little weird here, that honda manual states that if you pull out the brightness controller switch, or dimmer switch that is and short that red wire to black wire the lights should come on full bright.
The thing is, either the wires on my car are in the wrong direction, but they are not as stated in the manual. The red wire is instead on the other side of the clamp, so i just shorted the red with black wire and i got the lights going. And then i pulled the whole thing apart, swapped the sides of the red/black and red wire, plugged the dimmer switch back in and every thing is go.
I wonder if the viper alarm installation guy did this, swapped the sides or probably the previous owner toyed with it and forgot to put them back in line.
But the lights are working again, which is awesome, i dont need externally installed bogus lamps any more YAY!
