Ok here is one.

I have a 96 honda accord ex.

v6, automatic, 4dr.

The body has 165k on it, the engine has 85k.

There is no check engine lights on at all.

We can be driving and the car runs perfectly fine. When we come to a stop at a light, the car feels like it is surging, almost like a misfire. The tach does not move it sits there steady as a rock. I can feel a banging feeling through the brake pedal and also the passenger can also feel it through the floorboard.

Things I have done to this car.

The only thing I've done lately to this car is change the ignition coil to get rid of a jumping tach and also change the egr valve out to get rid of the check engine light.

If I could see the fluctuation in the tach it would be one thing but there is no flutuation.
