Default Rota SDX rims...Mugen RR wannabe step 1 !?

I finally found out Rota had made Mugen Forged GP rims replica...the Rota SDX
I love those rims....Idk how they will look on 6 gen si
but since they only come w/ 17 and 18 inches
Do u guys thinks 17" will look too big on my car
This Si is rollin w/ 17" bronze rota sub zero's on khumo spt 205/40/17's
It looks just right w/ this kind of ride height

here's my baby...Red 99 SI...runing 15" Konig Helium
probably raise my Omni coilover to the highest point

Rota SDX

If anyone nice enough to make me a photoshop pictures of those rims on my car
I'll be really appreciate that
Thanks

How come Gram Lights 57s-pro nor 57sz don't look like Mugen Forged GP at all but the SDX?

Sorta irrelevant, but for awesome Rota pricing...check out http://www.machiii.net they have some of the best prices shipped I've seen for new Rotas. And I also believe they price match, and they have every model available, as well as tire packages.

If you don't track your car, or have a real need for forged wheels....why would you NOT roll on Rotas? If I spend over $1k on wheels, and I accidentally curb one...you will see a grown man tear up and weep like a chick. Don't get me wrong though, If I was a baller and had serious dough to blow...i'd buy some Gram Lites or RSZR's just because I can, so I'm definitely not hating on non-racers that own genuine wheels. I just don't think people should hate on Rotas as much as they do. To each thier own.

And haha as hilarious as this sounds, if I had $2k to spend on wheels...since I don't track the car, I'd probably just buy 4 sets of Rotas. You gotta love how cheap they are. It'd be awesome to be able to change wheels like you change sneakers. And if you accidentally curb or bend one, big deal yanno!? Drop $120 and buy a new one. And like said above, when you get tired of them....Rotas are SOOO easy to sell or trade. I really dont wanna ruin this thread and turn it into a real vs fake thread or anything like that because it doesnt belong here, and I'm absolutely sure there are people out there that disagree with me and I'm completely fine with that, everyone is entitled to thier own opinion. As long as each car owner is happy with thier own cars, then everything is all good in the hood.

And I think those SDX's are bananas. I'd love them in gold or black for my EJ coupe. It does suck that they start @ 17". I love the Attacks, the Gram Lite knock offs...but they only come in 15" and 17". I would really prefer 16's but since I already have brand new tires on my 15" Si wheels, maybe it would be a better idea to just buy the 15's and swap tires. Plus not only would the wheels be cheaper in 15, but the tires will be as well. Ahhhh who knows haha...I wont be rim shopping for another month or so, but I'm glad this thread was made as I haven't seen those SDX's before just now.

Damn thats a novel, haha.

How about painting your side skirts and rear lip before buying new wheels?

I believe 17" won't look too bad on my Si since the blue si above doesn't look bad AT ALL...
unless

maybe becos the ride is too low or the rims pattern

oh....wt will happen besides my car speed up a little slower w/ 17"
wt's the pros and cons or difference between rollin w/15 and 17

the only thing I'm worry about is will the gunmetal SDX giv my RED si a aggresive lookin just like the Mugen RR
and for those dudes keep sayin who cares about Rota rims....u know wt

The mugen forged GP is like 2000 dollars....
if they're really too big..or just I don't like it, then wt....
plus I heard qulity of rota rims pretty good just like my Konig Helium....

Rollin rota rims is like u hv a Mugen "style" front lip...same thing
Now I just want some nice ppl can photoshop SDX on my car....thx so much

P.S. yea...I'm tryin to paint all the lips but u know winter in Spokane, WA is nightmare

BTW, since my car comes w/ a buddy club style rear lip...goin to just paint the side and the upper of it only so the bottom rear might look like Mugen RR rear diffuser....hahaha
See wt I mean ?

and get a ITR CF wing and paint it just both side stands and clear coated the middle part....might paint my roof black too

Please......please......somebody try to picture it....I think it will be really really really hot

I think those 17s are pulled off on the em1. You might be able to pull them off with the right ride height, tire size, ect...

PS, paint your front lip/sideskirts/rear lip before it.
