OBDI B18b swap in a DA?? what all do i need for swap
well if your da is a 92+ then you're fine, because it's already a obd1. but if your car a obd0 then the easiest and cheapest route would be to swap the new manifolds with your old ones and use your old distributor and alternator. also the transmission off of those are hydro so you'll need to use your old transmission too. just use your old mounts as well.
so to make a long story short, pretty much all you'll be using is the b18b block and head with this route.
another thing, i think that theres a difference in where the thermoswitch is located on b18a and b18b. you might want to look into that if you want your radiator fan to work properly.

my only problem is that i rele dont want to put a hole in my pocket over gas mileage becuz of that shorter gearing, i want to keep my Ls 5th gear but i dont trust myself cracking open that tranny and what not...dont rele want to shell out a lot ov money for it either lol
You can use the stock mounts and i would suggest using them unless they are completely f-ed.
IMO....Speaking from experience, Hasports are no better really unless you are making major hp.
Ebay mounts work 100% just as perfectly awesome but are 1/3 the price.
Stock mounts will ride a lot smoother then after market solid core mounts any day.
