Itr with Gsr
wuts up guys i searched and found 1 topic but its kinda of old and not clarified. Just wanted to know if anyone had a itr with gsr tranny . Does performance wise change is it better or recommended or no?
Well think about it, no LSD (Yes, some models came stock with it, but it's rare), wider gears... It all depends on what you're doing, but stock for stock, a Type-R transmission is far superior to a GSR transmission.
like people have said it depends on the application, but either way the GSR needs the LSD to even be comparable. GSR for boost, ITR generally better for n/a applications.
This thread will have difficulty giving relevant advise without the OP's posting his goals or build intentions.
-Boost?
-NA?
-Drag?
-Track?
-Cruising?
Here is a chart displaying the differences in the two transmissions:

well it'll be preety much n/a some work to the head, block is high compression already. Its either jdm itr tranny or jdm gsr tranny both with lsd. With gsr gears being a lil bit longer i would think it would give a better and longer top end with the stock itr it feels like when i shift into 5th i don't have much rpms to keep going.
