gauges

is it necessary to get like a/f, oil temp/pressure, etc. gauges for a N/A?

a/f would not be too necessary, unless you do your own tuning. I would stick with oil/water temp and oil pressure, most important probably being the oil pressure, then temp.

A volt gauge is very useful for diagnosing electrical problems.
