why would you buy a itr manifold, the bolts dont line up you have to modified intake mani for your gsr head, buy a skunk2 or blox intake for your gsr

Like stated before, this will not fit a P72 (94-01 GSR) head. You would happen to have a 92-93 GSR? If that is the case, it will fit, since the ITR and B17 share the PR3 head.

First of all as everyone has already mentioned, the ITR intake manifold is flanged for a PR3 head and does not fit the bolt pattern of the P72 GSR head. The only case where this is not true is with the 92-93 DA version of the GSR with the B17 which does utilize a PR3 head.

As for the throttle body, what are you hoping to gain? Most people think that swapping to a larger throttle body or boring over the stock TB will yield power gians; however, very few people actually see substantial gain. A typical NA engine can only pull in X amount of air; therefore, allowing more in is not going to help at all because the engine is already at its peak VE. The only thing you may notice is an increase in throttle response, but changing the throttle rotor will have the same effect. This is due to the increased Cross Sectional Area of the larger throttle body. You will be allowing more air into the intake manifold with less throttle, but at WOT, your engine wont take any more in as per the reasons stated above.

Not a bad idea...and if you ARE going to upgrade, doing the intake manifold alone is more than enough. I would actually suggest a new set of cams if anything. That'd be in the same price range, but give you a little more bang for your buck.

Because he asked what kind of IM to get and skunk2 makes a great manifold for a good price. He asked and that was my opinion. The manifold would be a good choice if he were to make other mods.

Without any kind of tuning, you'd be lucky to pick up 5whp....realistically

Ok so thisis my plan... I have a no name intake now and plan on gettin a decent short ram for now. do the skunk2 IM and TB, I like my greddy headers so ill stick with those. but I kinda want to save up and go turbo eventually... so i don't wanna go crazy and start doin a bunch a all motor stuff.
