hi there fellas,

just wondering if anyone has used the universal mounting kits that come with the fans.

the contents of the mounting kit is as follows :

4 Highly Durable Plastic Ties
4 High Durable Tie Knots
4 Anti-Shock Springs
4 Fin Protecting Pads

not reallly sure what or where to put the anti-shock springs.
and what order to put each piece. i can imagine the protecting pads go sandwich with the rad to protect from rubbing etc...

there were no instruction with it .

can anyone help me ?

hold the fan up to where you want it on the rad, put the 4 ties through. The pads go under the spring (they should be plastic) then put the spring on, then the knots, tighten so the springs compress about half way

 

thanks crx jimmy, i was presuming this also. just wasnt 100 percent sure on this.

i will give it ago this week. just need to get some coolant for the swap.
