Del Sol with B16A SIR2 revs dropping and sticking around 3k HELP!!
I just had a B16a sir2 swapped in the Del Sol.
The improvement over the SOHC was like night and day.
After driving it all together about 160miles, I started it up later in the day after driving it a bit and it seems like VTEC isn't working or something. The idle seems low, until now its been idling around 700rpm and revving smoothly and quickly through the whole band.
The symptoms seem the synonymous to blown head gasket but I doubt it, the revs slow at around 3k and when I rev it hard it revs fine just around 3k it acts funny. The car isn't street-able until I get this issue resolved, PLEASE help!
