hey guys i have just finished an si swap into my 88 dx i followed the directions but i have a question on the mpfi there is a fast idle control valve plug ,the instructions dont say weather or not it is used ? im just trying to cross my t's and dot my i's. does anyone know if this is a problem? i used acomplete SI engineand ecu thanks

 

the idle air control valve is on the back of the intake and normally is used for street cars that has a plug . the fast idle thermo valve or whatever it is part of some throttle bodies. there is no plug (electrical) for it. its controlled by the coolant temp
