Default Radiator Hose? overheating? HELP

while I was driving my stock 89 crx and it started to overheat. I made it home but right before i got into the drive way I heard a pop and a splshing sound. my temp went down a little bit. and started smoking from under the car (probally coolent). When the car cooled i dumped a whole gallon of coolent into the radiator and heard it leaking from one of the hoses the bypass hose. so my question is did I just blow the hose or is there a bigger problem at hand?

sounds like one of your hoses decided to finally let go on you, replace it
and any other hoses that are in need of replacing(the ones that look bloated)

it could have broke because there was too much pressure in the system. check the rad cap, you could have busted the headgasket and the cylinder pressure could have popped the hose.

it was not the radiator hose that burst. it was the bypass hose right under the dizzy. why would it just burst like that?

I would like to help, but your sentence structure makes it virtually impossible to understand what you are saying. If you can, get someone that speaks english better to type out your problem for you, we could probably help you better. I think it is just an english barrier problem.
