I'm thinking about doing a JDM front on my 95 teggy here real soon with my tax check. I'm not sure which conversion i'm gonna buy. i can get the basic conversion locally for 1200 picked up. I currently have HIDS on my Teg. I think they have another option on the jdm frontends that come with HIDS.

Could i not run my HIDS in the JDM frontend?
Is it a different bulb?
Could i just run a different aftermarket HID?

What is the benifit of everyone wanting the HID headlights that come on the clip?

I also have a guy locally who wants to sell fenders,hood and front bumper cover for 500.

Would all i need is the upper radiator support and headlights to finish??

And can you buy the upper support seperately and headlights??


thanks and i have done some searches..

 

aftermarket hids will work fine. they are the same as a usdm integra.

Although the oem hid headlights will look a lot cleaner(dont have to find places to mount ballasts) and probably put out better light.

IIRC I think you will have problems though with the oem hid lights if you have abs.

 

I do have ABS plus IC pipes. I love my HIDS on my car now they have great light output 6k with a slight hint of blue.

What is the difference in the basic frontend conversion and the more expensive one is it just HID lights?


If i buy the setup from the local guy fenders,hood,bumper i would only need upper radiator support and headlights correct?

do they sell that upper raddy support seperately?
