Hey gang..Heres the rundown. I bought a real nice black 95 EX with all the goodies and even the changer and antenna still work. Car has been babied and used as a commuter and garage kept. Ok..the not so good. Car has 303000 miles, trannys tight, some piston slap, needs a new motor mount(s) but the thing that is eating my lunch is a bad miss bellow 3k that is worst between 750 rpm and 2200 but sometimes when the convertor locks in 4th at 3k you can feel a light miss.

if you unplug the tps there is NO diff in run quality

pull the ecm/tcm fuse car runs better??!?!?!
No MIL??? check engine..sorry

Might need the EGR ports cleaned?

 

look in the intake manifold for carbon build up... the black stuff. A good shop can do a fuel system clean... injectors mostly.... try replacing the fuel filter like above clean the egr ports, engines that have high mileage need a good clean out. may need to replace the plugs after cleaning all of this. good luck
