Auto Transmission shot?
Hello all. Used search function but could not find anything close to my problem.
1996 Accord Ex Auto 4door 2.2 Vtec
154,000 on odometer
While pulling out of my neighborhood the other day the transmission slipped like it was low on fluid. It caught and when I got to my destination 5 miles away I looked at level of fluid and it was higher than normal. Went to leave tranny slipped again caught as it did the first time then 1/2 mile later it would not work in any gear.
The only thing it will do now is a slow creap in any gear including reverse. If you give it gas it just revs with no movement.
Any advice on where to start would be of much help.
