im looking to buy a 2000 civic hx with a type R motor, no boost, has a header and stock exhaust... the guy says it has an electronic switch for dumpoff in the exhaust... what is that?? <searched>

 

i think he talking about a DMH Cutout (http://dmhperformance.com/), it lets you keep your stock exhaust and with a hit or hold of a switch it lets you pretty much go open headers. I had one on my turbo civic with stock exhaust and the 3" cutout works like a charm.
