ITS VTEC, NOT "VTECH". Your asking to get flamed arent you.
If your still new to honda's dont do ls/vtec, IMO its a waste of money and most people who do it half *** the job and mess everything up. Buy a b18c1, way more reliable than ls/vtec and its a good motor to start with, and what model is your DA? LS, GS, RS, GS-R?

I'm sure if he has a GSR he wouldn't be asking about an LSVTECH.
B16 and B18C is the way to go.

my car has soo much vtech the h fell off...........
honestly if you don't know VTEC (variable valve timing and electronic lift control) is, you probably shouldn't even think of converting it to ls/vtec. theres too many aspects involved in creating a RELIABLE ls/vtec.
in your case do lot's of research. don't be afraid to use the search button
. look for all the different options and possibilities out there. choose the one that best fits not only your goals and expectations for the car, but also fits your abilities, and your cash flow.

why not just go with a b16a1? 88-91 the motor drops right in the engine bay, use the same harness, and all you need is the engine and ecu. you can get the motor for like 1000 bucks or so. a b18c1 would also be a good choice but it would be more costly to do the swap. if your looking for some quick cheap vtec go with the b16.

well here the deal i brought it from a friend. he said the bottom end is bored to .20 or something like that im not sure what exact saying is on that. and also his head now blew a valve so he said i might as well just make it an ls vtec since all the work is done and the head is off undstead of just resurfacing the head. im still trying to learn here so sorry for all the wrong saying guys
