I need help in removing the passanger side front door handle. I already have the ddor panel removed but don't know how to get the handle released from the door itself.

 

Year would help. If it's like my 90-93's, there are two screws that hold the handle to the door from the inside. There is a round self-adhesive sticker at upper right on the door that should give you access to one of the screws. I think you'll have to peel the plastic liner back at upper right to see the back of the handle and the other screw. Trickiest part is disconnecting the linkages.

 

Sorry..it is a 98 the issue I am having is that the plate that keeps the handle in the door is keeping me from getting it out how do you get that plate off? thanks
