Could be that ur fuel or spark can't keep up with the rapidly changing rpms. Ur fuel filter might be partially clogged and unable to deliver enough fuel that fast, or it could be ur igniter or ignition coil unable to deliver spark that fast. Do u notice anything else? Loss of power? Check engine light on? Oil full?
