90' civic DX head question
Okay the stock head warped a week ago. Now, I found another head. My
original head was stamped with a PM3-6 ...89. The head I found is stamped with PM3-5...91. Will this new head work.....and if it does what is the difference?

I just did a head gasket on a 1990 CRX DX model with the same problem last weekend. Why bother with another head??
I simply bought a new head and intake manifold gasket, pulled the head, and brought it over to a machine shop to have resefaced, presure tested and cleaned. Cost $50 for the gaskets, and $60 at the machine shop.....i reinstalled the head and problem solved. Done in one day, and cost me only $110
The car now runs like a champ

Doesn't matter, even during the EF years of 88-91, the dpi and the mpfi heads were the same casting
