Looks like we have a scammer in the group.
I dealt with him on a local transaction a while back and everything went smooth, but there is a member on ITRCA that got dicked over.
If anyone cares to help out I'm sure the help will be appreciated by him and most certainly by me.
Thanks for reading and helping

Well he paid through paypal. I wouldn't even bother fileing a dispute with paypal, since they are useless. If he used a card, he should call his card company, or if he used his bank account, call his bank. Tell him he never got it and funds should be back in his account within 3 days.

i did the same thing...everytime i pay with paypal i use my credit card because of this. paypal is so shitty, they dont care...but, they cant do anything once your credit card gives you back your money; they take it from his account...

Yeb, the scammers paypal will go negative. If he receives payment for something then automatically apply it to the negative balance, and he cant send anything out... really sucks haha. If its over 750 ( i think thats the magic number) and you dont pay up, they go after you legally.
ok here goes i dealt with this tool a couple of years ago when he tried to scam my *** on electric greddy gauges. he sent me mechanical ones and i specifically told him i didnt want fluids in my cabin which (mechanical gauges do).

anywho i didn't hear from his happy *** for a year and a half maybe two (after the fact i got lit up by the mother because of losing the $) he pops out of no where "hey bro can you delete that thread" and i exchange an arsenal of not so nice words and then he sends me my money. end of story. i cant imagine the hell he could possibly put you through

I usually only buy big ticket items from people I know on H-T who have countless vouches. You can usually tell how "honest" someone is by the way they contribute to the forum. Even that is sometimes not good enough though.
Visa + Paypal = best chance of restitution
