do you have anything that would drain the battery?

Is the alternator new or rebuilt? maybe have it checked for free at autozone.

Have you checked all the wiring? (power, ground, alternator for corrosion, cuts, loose connections)

is the battery light on the dashboard on?

Hook up a multimeter between the positive battery cable and the positve battery terminal (Disconnected from the battery of course). It should be less then half of an amp draw (Usually just radio memory, and other things that use a small amount of power to retain memory). If it is more than that, you have something in the car causing a draw.

Your voltage was at 13 amps? Check. You need to bring your car to a proffessional.

You mean 13 Volts perhaps? It sounds like you need a new alternator, or need to repair the wiring to it.

i am having this same problem. i have put in 2 new alts and 3 new batts in the past week and after a couple of days they are both fried. its seems like something is drainging the batt but idk what is i have checked all grounds and wires everrything seems fine.

a friend of mine had a crx with the same problem and he took out the rear defrost fuse and it fixed his problem.

also if it is a new motor swap i have read that a lot of ppl forget to plug the white wire back into the fuse box under the hood.
