Default Need more HP but dont know what to do next..HELP PLZ

I have a 99 sedan 4cyl and im looking for more things to do my car to make it faster without actually getting a turbo yet. Im savin up to get an H22 and since im only 19 and a student with a part time job its gonna take some time. Here is a list of the things I have done already....

-CAI
-Ceramic Header
-Test Pipe
-Catback exhaust
-PS and Alt Pulley
-Camgear
-SAFC
-Upgraded ignition
-iridium plugs
-Upgraded wires

What else can I do without getting a turbo or a new engine?

Anything will help. Thanx

If you're saving for an H22 why are you spending money on ****?

header can't be reused
ps/alt can't be reused
cam gear can't be reused
safc can't be reused
plugs can't be reused
ignition can't be reused
wires can't be reused

You haven't really thought it through at all.

i had put all this stuff on before i decided to to get an H22 because i thought that i didnt wanna do such a big project as an engine swap but now i know more about cars and i think i can do an engine swap on my own. Im pretty sure im not gonna get the H22 till next winter anyways.

Then why bother adding other stuff?

Even if it's a full year, it'll be wasted money that you're not going to recoup.

Any other power adders to the F22 are not going to be compatible with the H22.

Save your money and spend it on other stuff.

I agree, save up for the H22. I just got my JDM H22A Long block from tiger japaneses auto for $950 to my door. And the motor is MINTY. Absolutly zero rust and corrosion (besides the ex. mani.).

I just bought the last part i need for my swap from 51ludeguy earlier this evening, err uh.. last night. My total swap totals $1300 dead nuts.. so far.

A h22 swap will give you a power to weight ratio similar to a 00+ mustang gt coupe! Nothin like keeping up with mustangs and getting twice the gas mialge.

i'm currently building a f22a4 block with a f23vtec head, and been slowly building it over time i think i can push more than a h22 with some forged pistons, ported n polished head and a 120 shot for about 200$ more u could just spray it or turbo it for cheaper an 2000$ with forged pistons, and new rings, and all new gaskets and seals, cause if u have any miles i'm sure ur rear main seal is out. thats including a clutch, and also if u swap the H22 in dont forget u need a new header, n for a decent one maybe 200$ OBX

either get the h22 or boost the f22, you'll be happier with either, it all depends on where you want to spend your money. but before you spend any more $$$, find out what it is you really want to do.
