Default timing belt slack!

does anyone know how to tighten up the timing belt on a H22. I believe its got the manual converted tensioner to. help please!

There's a bolt on the side of the engine on the timing belt side. Just loosen it a little, turn crank manually until the slack gets tightened, then tighten the bolt back up. turn the crank a few times to make sure its all tight,

which way would i need to turn the crank? and what bolt would i have to loosen? Thanks for the response guys!

turn the crank the way the motor rotates while running.

You'll want to turn it counter-clockwise if you're looking at the timing belt side of the engine.
