I don't think they make them anymore. You can get the mfactory or circuitworx fd's of the same ratio.

circuit worx is junk, it didnt last me 3 passes down the track before the teeth sheared off the ring gear. i would stay away from them.

I haven't had any problems out of my Circuitworx FD after 2 or 3 seasons of use in my track car.

Last time I checked, MFactory does not offer a 4.714 FD for the H22.

What about the quality of the mfactory fd, i got one not to long ago, havent installed it yet, looks pretty good, slightly used, came with new driveshaft. Quality seems to be there, the teeth are hardend and heat treated.

I have yet to read any bad review of an mfactory gear product. And their customer service really is top notch.

Does the 5.15 final drive is to short for dragstrip? I hesitated on choice of 4.64 or 5.15 FD?? (200whp setup)

It really depends on your setup (rev limit, tire size etc)

One thing to keep in mind is that the Circuit Worx 4.7143 ring / penion for H22 is strictly for drag racing only. It has a life of 18 hours which is a long time racing a 1/4 mile at a time. I can get one for you . We have had great success with the oil pump gear.

Why is this? I just read that on CircuitWorx's web site, but I don't recall reading this 3 years ago when I bought one. I do recall some people stripping the teeth on their older H22 FD design, so they released a design with a thicker tooth profile. This is the one I bought. I've been using it in a road racing application for almost 3 seasons now. I was planning to pull the trans and take a look at it/rebuild it after this season is over. Plus I'm in the middle of building a spare trans, and I was planning to use another CircuitWorx FD. Any information you have on why they say this is for drag racing only would be greatly appreciated.

I've run the CircuitWorx FD for 3 years now. I'm not sure how you got the idea that I'm running an MFactory FD.

You might be thinking of Walter with the red Prelude. He runs the 5.2 MF FD.

A friend of mine with a black Prelude also runs the 5.2 MF FD, but he's not on HT much. I did the install on the 5.2 MF FD for him.
