I just installed Revo Technica Adjustable Front Upper Control Arms. The outside of the arm is not clearing the pinch weld. I called them and they suggested grinding/shaving it down depnding on where its touching. The car has never been hit. It's a 1990 Dx. Has anyone had this problem and how did they solve it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I threw them in the garbage that solved my problem. Honestly they are junk I wrecked them in under 3,000 miles. Mostly auto-x but still the stock ones lasted almost 20 years. I even got one to twist slightly and bent it just from cornering forces. The ball joints had massive play as well in 3,000 miles! Send them back because thay dont fit. get your money back. or throw them away

 

I bent the pinch weld out slightly and they cleared. Did you have pley in the ball joints or the mounting bracket??
