Default Tire Pressure for the RE730 on street?

what do you guys recommaned for the RE730 on the street? I am running really high, probably about 40 - 42, and the car is real skittish when driving because it tracks real easily with the road. Should I just go with the stock pressure?

Why more in the rear, when manufacturer recommends 35front 33rear?
just curious.

37 front 33 rear
The stock pressure is very good, but a little more pressure in the front seems to help turn-in and rollover.

sidewall is stiffer than the RE010 and you will most likely notice premature wear to the center of the tires at those pressures. I would say saty around 32-33 psi. I only ran 38 psi all around in these tires when I auto-x and they hardly rolled over at all.

I hate them and I hope Bridgestone burns in hell. Worst tire I ever owned. I get better traction running on just my bare rims than on the RE730's.

Never heard such a bad opinion of them. What do you consider a better tire for the money? I have had 3 sets and they have all stuck well. I ran my last set that was fairly worn at a track event and hung with the guys with race tires.

Neither have I, until now... Honestly, that's the first negative comment I've ever heard about them. Oh well, to each his own... IMO, these tires are great performers, and withstand a lot of abuse.

Oh yeah, I run 35psi front and 33psi rear on the street, and about 38 or 39psi all around for autocross.

I still think that is too high. I would say about 32-34 psi is a max pressure for the streets. THe tires only need 38 to be auto-x ready. For comparision most other street tires need 40-42 for auto-x.

it is my experience that tire pressure is a compromise between sidewall flex and contact patch. The lower the pressure the greater the patch area. Keep it as low as you can and maintain good sidewall conditions

Ive ran my 730s in the front as low as 29.5/29 and 28 in the rear on the street
and the damn things never come unglued unless I apex early and use the trottle to
slide the worn fronts into place on exit, by the way this is happening at 60+ mph.

comptech springs 1.5 lower
koni yellow in front rebound all the way off .25" lower (ttl 1.75" lower in front)
stock shocks in rear 1.5" lower
comptech rear swaybar, 3rd position very stiff
re730s 0/32 in front 9/32 in rear... hehe

I just rotated them and I have some noticeable inner wear.
oh well comes with the territory. I opted for some negative
toe in the front for more stability in cornering and in a straight
line while on the highway at speed.

-.1 in each wheel up front
+1.0 in the rear no odd wear in those tires yet
they just got a bit louder when I rotated them but I dont care about that.
I plan on getting those old tires replaced SOON

I dont auto X yet, but I want to. my setup is non ideal right now, but I am
sure my times will improve as my car improves and my driving gets better.

wo worries
