i wanted to know what comes with the short block. i want to know b/c i want to buy a ZC short block with tranny for 150. is that a good deal too. i don't know what come with a short block. please let me know what come in the short block.

 

crank, pistons, rods, pumps, oil pan flywheel and plate without the whole head

 

Short block is the bottom end of your engine. It should include crank, engine block, pistons, connecting rods and bearings at the least. If you know where your getting it from they should tell you if you get other stuff like oil pan, oil pump or any other stuff on the bottom end. I don't know if a zc short block for $150 is really a great deal unless it was rebuilt.

 

alright thanks...well it comes with the transmission too..but yeah...thanks...well is a ZC vtec long block for 275 a deal then...thanks for the info..

 

get the si L3 transmission from 88-91 crx or civic si

 

I would say thats an alrigh deal if the tranny is good. I paid $550 for my sohc zc with zc tranny from hmotors. Id rather cough up $550 for something thats for sure going to be good than some piece.
