Default can springs go bad?

hey guys i have a 93 prelude and the car already had aftermarket springs and struts, but i think they are worn out and wanted to get tokico struts, but didnt know if springs can go bad. i dont want to get knew ones cuz i like my ride height and since i didn't buy the current ones i dont know what set to get.

p.s i want new struts because i have rediculous wheel hop, and please dont tell me to learn how to drive, beacuse all it takes is for me to floor it in third going 45 mph and the car hops as if i launched it at a stop.

aftermarket springs tend to settle/sag a bit more than they are specified to but that is normal.

shocks/struts on the other hand do go "bad" as you say. replace those and you should feel better ride quality.
