Default Question about this manifold

I dont know a whole lot about manifolds, but this seems to be a pos.

Thin wall pipe, contaminated welds?
Are those correct observation?

Yeah...pretty much. Welds have some contamination here and there...whether or not it's backpurged who knows. It is thin wall, but can obviously be supported to prevent cracking.
