B parts on D motor ????

B parts on D motor ????
i am doing a single cam vtec swap in my crx and the last thing i need to do to the block is put on an alternator. it is a d16y8 block, and i happen to have a LS alternator with the connector at my friend house. just wanted to know if it would work before i made the drive out there. thank you

can someone please help i need to know if this will work or if i need to buy they one for the d16y8, cuz my boss want the car out of the shop on monday
