i need help on my crx hood...i close the hood and now the latch is stuck and i cant get the hood to open. any help on how to get the latch off so i can open the hood..

 

Try to reach under the bumper to see if you can pull the cable to release it. If not, you need to try to get under the car and release the latch with a screwdriver.

If not, you need to try to get under the car and release the latch with a screwdriver.</TD></TR></TABLE>ditto, there should be a black cable that goes accross your AC condensor right behind the bumper. you want to pull that cable only from the side that goes to the latch (under the hood), as hard as you can. if that doesnt work. have a friend push the front of the hood down while you pull the hood release latch.....actually try that first then try the cable pulling trick. p.s. search a bit, there's a million threads on it.

i had a problem getting my hood open earlier and if i pulled the latch, then hit the back of the hood with the heel of my hand it seemed to work, i think my spring is wore out..
