engine noise over ipod transmitter
hey everyone. a while back i bought one of those itrip things to play my ipod over my radio in my car. when i plugged it in, i could hear the engine noise coming over the speakers. i tried changing the stations on the transmitter and stuff, but nothing worked so i returned it.
has anyone else had a similar problem? are there certain brands of these transmitters that work better than others?
i'm sick of just listening to the radio! any imput would be greatly appreciated

Depending on the "radio" you have, there are iPod adapters that use the iPods docking port to connect it to the radios CD port for a direct connection to the HU, [radio] it will eliminate the noise problem and give you much better SQ out of the iPod.
So the question is what kind of "radio" is it, does it have a CD changer port?

Then you need something like the PAC iPAC-OEM http://www.pac-audio.com/auxbox/auxbox.asp with AB-CHR99 http://www.pac-audio.com/auxbox/auxb...earch+Vehicles and there are other brands, whatever you get make sure it uses the docking port of your iPod and not the headphone jack, it makes a big diff. in SQ.
