FS/WTT: 2003 Dsport featured,low 11 second, T1 built GT35R evo VIII
Well I’ll be graduating from college in May and its time for something more practical. I have had nothing but fun with this car and it is definitely my favorite car that I have ever owned. It was bone stock when I bought it in October of 2005. This car was featured in the February 2007 issue of Dsport magazine and a copy of the issue will be included with the sale. The car currently has 46,xxx miles on it and had the head built and ported and polished and a turbo rebuild at 41,000 miles. All of the fab work and tuning on this car has been done at T1 Race Development by Tony Palo.
Exterior:
- EvoDave Evo VII style taillights
Wheels and Suspension:
- JIC FLT-A2
- 17x9 Volk LE-28’s Black w/ polished lip
- Toyo Proxes T1R’s 255/40/17
Interior
- Alpine head unit w/ ipod link
- Plx m300 wideband
Engine:
- supertech valves
- skunk2 valve springs and retainers
- ported and polished head (whoever Tony at T1 uses)
- HKS 272 cams
- ARP head studs
- Stock bottom end
- AMS intake manifold
- T1 2.5 inch intercooler piping (cold and hotside)
- TiAl BOV
- TiAl 40mm wastegate
- Precision large FMIC
- Precision 1000cc injectors
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump
- Precision T4 GT35R
- Custom T1 equal length exhaust manifold w/ burns collector and T4 flange with w/g dump out the front bumper
- 3 inch downpipe flared to 4 inches
- 4 inch T1 aluminum exhaust w/ burns stainless race muffler
- 3speed scattershield
Electronics:
- AEM EMS
- Prologger boost solenoid
- GM MAP sensor
Transmission:
- Shep Racing built tranny
- Quaife LSD
- Exedy HD twin disc clutch and flywheel
Brakes:
- Powerslot rotors
- Hawk pads
The car dynode at 403 whp and 300 wtq before the built/p&p head and went 11.7@ 121 averaging around 12.0@118-119. Since the built head and exhaust the car has not been dynode but has been street tuned (runs perfect) and has ran a best of 11.4@ 122 and 11.6@ 123 so I’m guessing its between 450-470whp now on straight 93 octane and 22 lbs of boost. I’m am asking for $27,500 obo and no reasonable offer will be refused I have all receipts for everything done to the car since I have had it. Including the car there is over $45,000 invested. Also included with the car will be all of the stock parts including the stock wheels. The only things missing are the front windshield wipers and motor assembly (don’t ask) which I was quoted at around $400 for through Mitsubishi. The A/C is not installed because the compressor went out but I have all of the other components in perfect working condition. So all you would need to re-install it are a new compressor and the accessory belt. The rear bumper has a scrape on the corner and is stained by the exhaust. There are other small dents and scratches on the car that I will point out to you if you come to look at the car. VIN will be supplied upon request.
