Y8 crank Q's
Hey guys,
Recently started tearing apart my spare motor for a turbo build. All I have left to pull from the block is the crank girdle and crank. I have the oil pickup off obviously and all of the bolts pulled from the girdle, yet it still seems secured in place. What needs to be done to pull this out?
And as far as the crank, It has heavy damage to one of the bearings, I have heard that a different crank can be substituted for better oiling properties such as the a6 or something along those lines. Is this true and what would I need to make it work?
TIA
-Bobby
