Sunroof woes!
For any of you that have experienced or are currently experiencing sunroof troubles in the form of leakage I will attempt to rememdy the situation for you and myself.
Since I've had this car:

I've had a slight problem. Every time I've parked the car with the front end on and incline (meaning the rear of my car is pointing downhill), and it just so happens to rain a decent amount (any amt it seems now) this happens:
When I start the car, commence driving and hit my brakes or point the front of the car down a hill, NIAGARA FALLS comes out of nowhere and douses me, my interior, and whatever potentially expensive I happen to have in the cabin with me (be it textbooks, mp3 player, electronics, etc.).
It happened yesterday on my textbooks and I've had it up to here.
So yesterday I sped home and took my headliner out. Im sorry I didn't take any pictures of it (I was too mad to think about it), but I'm going to do a little tutorial of how to clean your rear drain hoses out on SI, or sunroof equipped cars.
I'll have pics up soon. maybe then when this is finished it can be archived in the FAQ or something.
Basically what I'm going to do is remove the hoses at the top of the roof and take a compressed air hose and attempt to remove whatever (leaves, condoms) that is clogging up my drain hoses. Then I'm gonna order a new headliner and once again have a nice clean non watered damaged headliner....

Hearing something like this is completely dissapointing, but you have to admit that a seal or something might also have been a problem in your situation. Who knows?
we'll see in this weekend after I clean them out. Hopefully it'll rain some ......

I've had the same problem in the past and over long time! First, I'm sad to say that if it's been going on for long time, your roof is rusted (side pillar) and time to get new shell.
Start with checking your drain plugs in the back of the car. You can acess it through your trunk, just open the covers to the tail lights and remove the drain tube from the gromet. If you have water hanging around and it drained as you pulled it out, you're in luck and don't ahve to take your liner out. Just unplug the gromet that the drain tube goes in.
If no water came out, you have to start with taking your glass off and try to feed a wire to unplug your back corner dain ports.
