TRACK???
*Sigh*
Read. The goddamn. FAQ.

It's the third f'ing link down on the first page, and has the answer to all your questions. And if by some miracle you can't decipher that, then SEARCH. I'll give you a hint. I can think of 3-4 tracks completely off the top of my head that are within a reasonable driving distance from you.

I must agree that a simple search would get you your answer but here you go:
Lime Rock Park in Lime Rock, CT.
Watkins Glen in Watkins Glen, NY
Pocono Raceway in Longpond, PA in the Pocono MTS.
Soon to be:
Thunderbolt Raceway at New Jersey Motorsport Park in Millville NJ.
Liberty Bell Motorsport Park - Douglassville, PA

BeaverRun is off the Northeast schedule this year. Too bad, I really like that track.
Allentown is about 45min. north of Philadelphia, PA and about 45 min. South of Pocono Raceway. Kind of a boring place but we're very close to Philly, New York City, Baltimore and D.C. PLUS, John Oldt, John Whitaker and Chris Drabouski live in the are which makes this more exciting.
Spence, how's the new job? I'm disappointed that you can't make Comp school at VIR, I was hoping I'd be able to follow you and steal your line.
If Hyper-Fest is going to be your first race were are you doing Comp School, NASA NE? See ya at Summit.

LRP is doing the same thing. They wanted to go semi-private (ie. Buy a individual membership for $50k - $100k). For 2008, LRP track days will be half day. NASA NE will have track days there this year but there will be no races

Why are the lower dollar tracks doing this? Threat of being shut down? I'd think they would make more money renting out to organizations.
Though, I do remember the last NASA Beaver event was something like $400 for the weekend

Cause you can go to their place after the race as opposed to hanging at Pocono overnight which extremely lame.
Regarding the HypeRfest Honda Challenge Kegger, I think it goes without saying that that will happen again this year. Same deal as last year, throw the keg keeper a few bucks and get tanked on us. We are not responsable for the pounding headaches caused the next morning by raspy Hondas waking you up at 7:30 or Chris crooning over the PA system and announcing that it is "ding ding it is now 7:43 offical NASA time".

Because it's Chris, Whitaker and the always entertaining JOHN OLDT. Plus I don't think you can actually stay at Pocono overnight, at least not in the infield. If you still have doubts just ask Spencer and Zephyr about their last stay in Allentown.
