Default b16a Intake Manifolds

Hey what's up guys...

I'm running a b16a with ctr cams, I plan on getting a tune soon.

My tuner tells me that I need to pick up some parts first, so I just want some advice on brands, sizes, etc.

I need an intake manifold, I was told to go after the skunk 2... But I'm starting to think skunk 2, blox, etc. Might be the same.

Also, I need to get a throttle body, but I am unsure on which size will make the most sense.

Any help would be great, thanks!

skunk2 intake manifold for b series is just an inmitation of ITR intake manifold, so i got a oem itr intake manifold and bored it to 68mm and i got a skunk2 68mm throttle body for my b16a swap. works nice. breath better. perfomance, yes

If you want to bore it out just go 70mm and use a mustang 5.0 tb. dont hate, it does perform. I might have a friend who has one, he blew his B16 recently.

don't put a 70 mm throttle body on your B16A.

It doesn't make sense, it'll kill your throttle response completely, and won't make the appropriate amount of power in your setup.

IF your motor was a complete built, motor that was going to see high revs all teh time and wasn't meant to see street driving (where driveability is an issue), then fine.

Why would he put a freaking 5.0 throttle body on his car when he could just bore out his current one.

I may be wrong but that jus doesn't make any sense to me WHATSOEVER.
