I just put a Magnaflow SS on my 99 sedan and it is almost completely silent at idle but it has a very deep roar when you get on it. I was very impressed.

full of fail

1) you have no reason to take off the cat
2) why do you want it loud? you'll break the law and attract police
3) exhaust sound won't change over time

Not that much of a performance gain.

There's loads of people running massive turbo setups with a cat.
