Default VALVE, PROPORTIONING question help if you want

hey guys well i am doing a disk swap on my hx neways i bought everything almost, and i do know that it does not make a big difference and that the drums are lighter, but my trailing arms are expletiveed (dont ask) so i might as well go with disk's since i got everything at a decent price from a great member on this forum, well the question is should i get a new proportioning valve for a si with 40/40 since mine is set up for drum's i am not upgrading the mc because i heard that i should not unless i am doing the front, and i got stainless steal lines for the f of it even though that will not help that much i want to do everything right before i start the swap i am even going to put new stock trailing arm bushing's in the trailing arms i get because the ones i have are shot to ****. well ne help is great as usual and thank you guys and girls

yes you "need" the prop valve 40/40 from the SI to do it correctly and you are right you do not need the MC. Remember to bleed your brakes and get new E-brake lines you will have to use the ones from a 99-00 civic SI. im guessing you car is a 96-00 civic HX.
The stainless steel is over doing it but if you got the money. One important note i might add if you don't already know, remember to clock the main trailing arm bushing when you install the new ones. other then that everything is plug and play. I was just missing the cotter pin when i was installing my calipers so it pissed me off
have fun

clocking is like turning the bushing slightly with the admout that you are lowering your car so it does not twist and crack over time. ill look for the artical on it later when im free.
