Default Walbro 255 fuel pump question.....

Bought a walbro fuel pump from a friend and he didnt give me the connector which has the two or three wire with the clip on it.. Is it ok to use a type butt connector in the fuel tank? any advice... here is a photo of what i am talking about..

What car is it for? If it's a 92-00 Civic or a 94-01 Teg, then you don't need to mess with the wiring. It's plug and play.

But if it's for something else and you need to re-wire it, I would avoid butt-connections since they suck. Soldering is always recommended. Just don't blow yourself up.

i used two shielded ( plastic cover) slide on connectors and it works fine. i just gently pinched them so they stay tight and wont come off easily. i used the shielded ones so they wont touch each other and spark ..

95 civic coupe ... so u guys think that those female couplers that slide on should work?
