I have a 97 civic coupe w/ B16a2. I have SIR rims with Yokohama S-Drives, which are awesome BTW.
Next on my ever growing list of must haves is suspension. Right now I have around 1000 bucks saved and am itchin to blow it.
I have been reading thru the forums for 2 1/2 months now and am totally up in the air as to what combo of parts to run.
First off heres what I want to get:
Full coilovers - Would love to get the Skunk2 Pro Cs but might settle for Pro S
Front camber kit - Also S2
Rear camber kit - ???
LCA - also S2
Urethane Bushing kit - ???
I know that at only 1000 bucks so far, I will have to be very selective as to what to purchase first. I am only a sprited daily driver and like to have my car sit low. Not muffler scraping but with the top of the tires about a half inch to an inch from the fenders. I have no aftermarket skirts or anything, just a stock body.
I really like the option of having ride height adjustment and quality seperate. Thats just the way it should be to me.
Wanting my car low, I understand that I will prolly need camber kits for proper alignment if I want to keep my tires in good shape for any reasonable amount of time.
Basically, I want to be able to adjust my settings as I please. Keep my alignment true and also my tires, and overall, stiffen up the chassis and improve handling. I listed Skunk2's products because I love the finish on their products and have read good things about them from others reviews.
So I guess my question is this:
With a budget of lets say $1500 dollars, What combination would you go with? And to stay with that budget, what would you suggest to buy first?
I am open to other companies as well, I just have grown to really like Skunk2's products. And I would like to add a lot of S2' other products under the hood as well. I kinda like the idea of staying with 1 company.
